Today I added pieces to the floating dock. I completed the surface deck where you actually stand, and added some barrels to the bottom. The barrels are what actually makes the dock float, so they're essential in the design. I built the first 2 barrels using the cylinder command.

I've decided to restart and design something that me and my dad actually built during this quarantine. The thing i'm designing is a floating dock. Although I've already finished building it, I feel that it would still be fun to recreate it in a design. Below is the finished product of the actual floating dock, and the other picture is the start of the design on fusion 360.

Figured out some new cool tools, such as how to sketch lines. Trying to learn how to extrude them.

I'm still getting used to fusion. It's a little more confusing then solid works, but i'm starting to understand it.

4/17/20- Today is my first day using fusion 360. My goal for today is to get familiar with the app, and start creating some cool designs. I feel like my experience with solidworks should help me a lot with figuring out fusion. This first drawing is just me messing around. Next blog i'm going to start creating something.

Me and Ian did some editing to the battery clip. We're planning on spending one more class editing and then printing it.
